Animals in Art brainstorming worksheet

We use animals as themes for lots of projects.  Sometimes it's specific, like farm animals or sea animals, but other times I want students to brainstorm their favorite animal.

This worksheet gets kids thinking of all sorts of different animals.  It also has some cute pictures that I got from doverpublications.com.  I've used this to start animal printmaking lessons, model magic sculptures, foil engravings, and even surreal paintings.
