I am slowly integrating choice based projects into my curriculum. I am basing it off of the "centers" that I have set up in my 3-5th grade art room. Our next exploration is painting! We were finishing up some other projects and I needed a little something to have students thinking about different genres for their next independent project. I came across this free download from TeachersPayTeachers. It worked perfectly for what I wanted! The download was three separate .jpgs, and the text and images are a little fuzzy. But, besides that, it's a simple page to add to my fifth grader's sketchbooks. They did need a review of the different genres, but after that, it went off without a hitch.
